Papaya is known to be one of the healthiest fruits in the world. It is known to have extraordinary health benefits. There are several ways to use papaya in terms of accessing their beauty benefits.

Papaya Face Pack:

1.Mixing ½ cup of mashed ripe papaya and the juice of 1 lemon. Massage the mixture all over your face and neck. Leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. Do this at least once a week.

2.Massage the mixture gently into your face. Leave the face pack on for 30 minutes.

Rinse off using cold water. This will seal your pores and prevent any impurities from re-entering your newly cleaned skin. Do this at least once a week.

Face Pack #2

  1. Blend ½ cup of ripe papaya into a fine paste. This is purely optional but if you want to add a little raw honey. Apply the paste all over your face and neck. Leave this on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off carefully with cool water and pat dry with a clean towel.

As papaya is rich in water, it is an excellent source of hydration for your skin.

For Hair:

Papaya is rich in folic acid which is a vital nutrient in helping overall hair health and circulation. It can also serve as a wonderful hair conditioner providing hydration and a plentiful amount of natural vitamins.

To make a conditioner:

You will need 1/2 of a papaya and 1/2 cup of plain yogurt

1. Start by removing the skin and the seeds of the papaya and blend until a smooth paste has formed.
2. Add the yogurt to the papaya paste and be sure to mix well.
3. Apply this mixture to your hair. Start from the roots to the very ends. *Note: When starting from your scalp, use your fingertips to deeply massage your scalp. This will help circulation within your scalp which is very important!
4. Keep this conditioner in for an hour and then rinse using a mild shampoo.
