Papaya is known to be one of the healthiest fruits in the world. It is known to have extraordinary health benefits. It is loaded with rich sources of antioxidant nutrients such as carotenes and vitamin B and C, folate and pantothenic acid. It is also a fruit that contains vital minerals such as, potassium, copper, and magnesium; and fiber.
When we think of a papaya, we are more likely to think of a tropical atmosphere with sunny skies. Not only is this their natural habitat but there are hidden treasures within this fruit that are considered a goldmine to the body.
This one fruit with its own natural nutrients promotes the health of the cardiovascular system as well as protection against colon cancer. In addition, papaya contains the digestive enzyme called papain, which is used like a similar enzyme found in the fruit pineapple. This enzyme is used to treat sports injuries, other causes of trauma, and allergies.
Papaya has an immense system to protect against heart disease. The properties within the fruit are so powerful, they are able to fight the oxidation of cholesterol. When cholesterol is oxidized, it begins to build up on blood vessel walls which is a leading cause of heart attacks and stroke. Folic acid, found in papayas are needed for the conversion of a substance called homocysteine into benign amino acids such as cysteine or methionine. If this is left unconverted, homocysteine can directly damage blood vessel walls. If levels increase to the point where it is too high, then it is considered a significant risk factor for a heart attack or stroke.

Papaya contains several protein-digesting enzymes including papain and chymopapain. These enzymes have been shown to help lower inflammation and to improve healing from burns.
The antioxidant nutrients found in papaya, including vitamin C and beta-carotene, are great at reducing inflammation. With diseases that are worsened by inflammation, such as asthma, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, to name a few find that the severity of their condition is reduced when they get more of these nutrients. Ultimately, it is helping the body.

To make a conditioner:
You will need 1/2 of a papaya and 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
1. Start by removing the skin and the seeds of the papaya and blend until a smooth paste has formed.
