“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Amen..

In this verse, those who confessed that they believe in Christ are saved and delivered. By doing this, they are now on the path of Godly righteousness.

Now to break it down so that you may gain more perspective, this verse is ultimately recognizing your faith. It is one thing to say you have faith and it is another to actually have faith where it comes from your heart truly.

The way we think, to the way we talk and to the way we believe can greatly have an impact on our way of living. By accepting that you believe and have faith in God you are also trusting fully. Now if you think of it this way, the tongue is a powerful instrument. By using the power of the tongue and confirming aloud that you believe, trust and have faith in God you are truly hearing the gospel.

I always found this verse to be very relatable in our own way of living. Most of the time with our personal struggles we can have difficulty in believing what good will come to be out of a bad situation. By believing with your full heart and soul and confessing it aloud that you have faith and trust in God and what will be you are protecting and bringing it to your reality. I think this is so important because in human nature we automatically doubt instead of having faith. By turning this around you are doing your life a better justice by believing and by believing you are able to bring you and your life to a healthier level.

With this verse, remember:

Word. Faith. Grace. Power

By reading the word, you are able to build and maintain your faith. This in return gives you grace where being a child of God your grace delivers power and you have all the ability to use it in your life in the most positive way.

Thank you for reading, I hope this post touched your heart as it did mine 🙂 God bless you all!
